Dance Your True Colors BHSU Woodburn Auditorium 2:00 pm & 5:00 pm May 2nd, 2009

We are very excited this year because we are having the 2nd Annual Recital at the BHSU Woodburn Auditorium!  BHSU has a wonderful theatre department that is going to be working very hard with us on backdrops, props, lighting and sound.  Not to mention well trained techs, this provides a more professional presentation.  Woodburn offers great back stage dressing rooms and more space for the little ones to spread out when they are waiting to dance, not to mention a theatre that holds 400 people.  

This year we will again have the Recital presented as 2 different sections.  We are so thankful to have over 90 dancers this year, which would make a straight run through Recital 3-4 hours long -- too long for the dancers and the audience.  With the Recital in 2 sections, each section will be around 1^1/2 hours long with a big break until the next section.  We will have one section that begins at 2:00pm and one that begins at 5:00pm.

The idea is shorter sessions and different shows – Basically a LONG intermission with enough time for the dancers to relax and have a snack.  Some dancers will be in the first section and get to enjoy the second section in the audience.   Some dancers that are in multiple classes may be showcased in both performances.
